Introduction
This document explains how to
set your Netbackup environment to backup ESX host
Why
vmbk do it better? .
normally with NetBackup product you need to know which ESX
server own VM guest, so you can configure backup job to catch
disk files owned by guest , well what happen if you move a VM to
another host (for example with VMotion) or you add a new one ?
You miss your backup .
Well with vmbk, this problem don't exist because the backup file
list is generate "just in time", so you don't need to worry
about where is your guest.
PRERELEASE
